FULL-TIME CHEF Required

Full-time 38 hours per week-$79,000-$90,000 per year plus Super

WAGGA INVESTORS PTY LTD, trading as Commercial Hotel Junee is a historic, family-friendly country pub and accommodation venue located in the central business district of Junee, New South Wales, 2663. The Commercial Hotel is a beautiful iconic building in Junee that has a modern-day pub with friendly staff dedicated to providing you with quality service.

WAGGA INVESTORS PTY LTD, trading as Commercial Hotel Junee, is seeking a qualified and experienced Chef to join our team on a full-time basis.

Key responsibilities:

- Plan menus and develop new dishes in line with customer preferences and business requirements.

- Estimate food and Labour costs, assist with kitchen budgeting, and order food supplies.

- Inspect deliveries, manage stock levels, ensure the proper storage, freeze, and preservation of food products.

- Prepare, season, and cook a variety of meals in accordance with recipes and quality standards.

- Monitor the quality and presentation of dishes throughout all stages of preparation and service.

- Discuss menu planning, food preparation and kitchen operations with management and kitchen staff.

- Demonstrate cooking techniques and guide kitchen staff on food preparation procedures.

- Supervise,



select and train kitchen staff, including apprentices, to maintain efficient kitchen operations.

- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and sanitation regulations and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Skills:

- Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery, Diploma of Hospitality Management, or an equivalent qualification; and

- Minimum of 2 years of relevant full-time experience as a Chef (or equivalent experience where applicable).

- Able to work overtime and during weekend and public holiday

- Good communication service

- Demonstrated experience in commercial kitchen operations, menu preparation and food production.

- Solid knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene requirements and kitchen procedures.

- Ability to manage kitchen operations and work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Working Hours: 38 hours / per week

Work experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant full-time experience as a Chef (or equivalent experience where applicable).

Education/Skills

Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery, Diploma of Hospitality Management, or an equivalent qualification; and

Full-Time Position

Salary: $79,000-$90,000+ Superannuation
