About the role: This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to develop practical skills and gain hands-on experience.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

Carry out general civil maintenance, including roads, drainage, footpaths and verges.

Safely operate plant and equipment, including excavators, skid steers, rollers and backhoes.

Follow workplace health and safety procedures and help maintain secure worksites.

Work as part of a team to complete maintenance tasks and support Council operations.

Maintain accurate work records, report hazards and defects, and keep equipment clean and serviceable.

What we're looking for

A reliable and hardworking team player with good communication skills and a positive attitude.

An interest in civil and road maintenance, including learning about maintenance techniques and operating plant and equipment

Strong communication, teamwork and customer service skills, with the ability to work safely and collaboratively.
