About the role

Ida's Cleaning is seeking a reliable and dedicated Cleaner to join our team on a casual basis. This is a hands-on role based in Toowoomba, QLD, where you will be responsible for maintaining clean, hygienic, and well-presented environments for our clients. As a Cleaner, you will play a vital role in ensuring our clients' spaces meet the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation.

This casual position offers flexibility whilst providing meaningful work that directly impacts client satisfaction and our company's reputation.

What you'll be doing

- Performing general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting of residential and commercial spaces

- Sanitising and disinfecting surfaces, bathrooms, and kitchen areas to maintain hygiene standards

- Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately

- Cleaning windows, mirrors and glass surfaces

- Using cleaning equipment and machinery safely and effectively

- Restocking cleaning supplies and reporting when supplies are running low

- Following health and safety protocols and using appropriate personal protective equipment

- Maintaining a professional appearance and demeanour when interacting with clients

- Completing cleaning tasks in a timely manner whilst maintaining quality standards

What we're looking for

- Previous experience in cleaning, hospitality, or a similar service-based role

- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleaning standards

- Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to manage a flexible casual schedule

- Physical fitness and stamina to perform cleaning duties throughout a shift

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team





- Good communication skills and a friendly, professional manner

- Willingness to follow instructions and adapt to different client requirements

- Valid driver's licence & own vehicle is a must !! for travel between client locations
