First People Facilities Management is an Indigenous-owned facilities services business that delivers high-quality cleaning and property services to commercial, education, community and residential clients across NSW. We're growing, and we're looking for reliable, experienced cleaners and general labourers to join our team across a variety of sites in Sydney Wide.
Key responsibilities
Cleaners
- General cleaning: vacuuming, mopping, dusting, surface wipe-downs
- Kitchen and bathroom cleaning and sanitising
- Bins, waste and recycling
- Deep cleans, detailing and periodic cleans
- Following site schedules and WHS procedures
General labourers:
- Site clean-ups and builders' cleans
- Rubbish removal and waste handling
- Loading, unloading and moving furniture, equipment and materials
- Grounds and outdoor work (sweeping, pressure washing, basic landscaping)
- Assisting tradespeople with general tasks
- Keeping work areas protected and tidy
About you
- Previous cleaning or labouring experience (1+ years preferred)
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
- Happy to work alone or in a team
- Work rights in Australia
- Own car and driver's licence
- Labourers: current White Card (construction induction) highly regarded
- Cleaners: experience with floor machines is a plus
- Working With Children Check and National Police Check (or willing to obtain them)
