Elton Law Group is a boutique commercial law firm in Sydney, and we act for SMEs and privately held businesses. We’re growing, and I’m looking for an experienced lawyer to join the team and work across all of our core practice areas.

The work

You’ll be running matters across our three main areas:

- Commercial work, including business and share sales and purchases
- Property, including commercial and residential purchases and sales
- Private lending, where we act for lenders, borrowers and guarantors

How we work

You’ll be trusted to run matters on your own, but you’ll never be left on your own, because the team is always there for support and I’m in the trenches with everyone day to day. We look at every deal with commercial pragmatism first and then put the law on top of it,



and we would much rather bring a client a solution than a list of problems. Being responsive matters a lot to us, and so does explaining to clients what the law actually means for them, so we’re looking for someone who works the same way.

About you

- 5 to 7 years PQE
- Experience drafting and negotiating business and share sale agreements
- Comfortable running property matters through to settlement on PEXA
- Experience preparing loan and security documents, including PPSR registrations
- Happy dealing directly with clients and running a matter from start to finish on your own

Flexibility

We ask for three days a week in the office but otherwise we are pretty adaptable.
