We're looking for an experienced Cloud & Security Engineer who thrives on solving technical challenges, automating infrastructure, and building secure cloud environments that make a real business impact.

This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll have the opportunity to work across AWS, Microsoft technologies, infrastructure automation, networking, and cyber security, while helping shape the future direction of enterprise cloud platforms.

The Role:

As a Cloud & Security Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and supporting modern cloud infrastructure and cybersecurity solutions.

You'll work across cloud engineering, automation, networking, systems administration, and security operations to ensure environments remain highly available, secure, and scalable.

- Work with modern AWS and Microsoft cloud technologies
- Lead cloud transformation and security uplift initiatives
- Drive Infrastructure as Code and automation practices using Terraform
- Influence cloud architecture, security standards, and best practices
- Work alongside highly experienced cloud, infrastructure, and cyber professionals
- Access ongoing certification and professional development opportunities
- Play a key role in delivering resilient, enterprise-scale solutions

Key areas of responsibility include:

Cloud Engineering

- Design, build, and support AWS cloud environments
- Deliver cloud migration, transformation, and optimisation initiatives




- Develop highly available, fault-tolerant, and resilient cloud platforms
- Manage core AWS services including EC2, VPC, Route 53, RDS, CloudWatch, Load Balancers, Control Tower, and AWS Backup
- Implement cloud governance, monitoring, and operational best practices

Infrastructure Automation & DevOps

- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
- Build reusable modules and deployment standards
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management
- Design and maintain CI/CD deployment pipelines
- Drive consistency, scalability, and operational efficiency through automation

Cyber Security & Risk Management

- Implement and maintain cloud security controls and security best practices
- Conduct security reviews, assessments, and risk analysis activities
- Manage vulnerability assessment and remediation programs
- Participate in incident response and recovery activities
- Support governance, compliance, and security uplift initiatives
- Review environments against CIS Benchmarks and recognised security standards

Networking & Infrastructure

- Design and support cloud and hybrid networking solutions
- Manage VPN connectivity, routing, firewalls, and network segmentation
- Support secure connectivity between cloud and on-premises environments
- Administer Windows Server and Linux infrastructure
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Certificate Services

What We're looking For

- 5+ years of infrastructure, systems engineering, or cloud engineering experience




- 3+ years of hands-on AWS experience in enterprise environments
- Strong experience designing and supporting production cloud platforms
- Deep knowledge of AWS architecture and Well-Architected Framework principles
- Proven Terraform and Infrastructure as Code experience
- Experience building automation and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong networking knowledge across VPNs, routing, firewalls, and hybrid connectivity
- Experience with vulnerability management and security remediation activities
- Windows Server and Linux administration experience
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills

Highly Desirable

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional)
- AWS Certified Security – Specialty
- Microsoft Azure certifications
- Microsoft Security certifications
- Experience in cloud migration or transformation programs
- Exposure to enterprise-scale or highly regulated environments
- Knowledge of security frameworks, cloud governance, and zero-trust principles
