The Opportunity

As a Collections Officer, you'll be at the heart of our customer engagement and account resolution activities.

Your role will involve connecting with customers, understanding their individual circumstances and helping them find practical ways to resolve outstanding accounts. You'll combine communication, problem-solving and negotiation skills to achieve positive outcomes while delivering a professional and respectful customer experience.

What Will You Be Doing?

Your responsibilities will include

- Connecting with customers: Making outbound calls and handling inbound enquiries to discuss outstanding accounts.
- Finding solutions: Understanding individual circumstances and negotiating appropriate repayment arrangements.




- Building relationships: Establishing trust through clear communication, active listening and a professional approach.
- Investigating accounts: Identifying and locating customers while reviewing relevant account information.
- Supporting customers in financial difficulty: Recognising when additional support may be needed and working towards practical, appropriate outcomes.
- Maintaining accurate records: Updating customer information and documenting interactions across our systems.
- Achieving results: Working towards individual performance targets and contributing to the success of the wider team.
- Doing things the right way: Following relevant procedures, regulatory requirements and compliance standards in every interaction.
