Studying building, construction or experienced in trades? Start your career now, not after you graduate.

Most students finish their degree and diploma and then go looking for experience. Our cadets finish with two years of it done and a launch into their career.

We're taking on 2 cadets in our Sydney team, commencing February 2027.

The Program:

Taking on a cadetship with Prime Build means:

- Work that fits around your study commitments: full-time position with 4 days a week in semester,1 day off for study. 5 days per week (Monday to Friday) in your breaks.

- Starting site-ready: Your first month covers safety, site inductions and your White Card.

- People in your corner: A supervisor in every rotation, an assigned buddy and the backing of supportive teams throughout.

- Try three teams before you choose your path: 7-month rotations in Estimating, Rollout and Contract Administration.

- Industry tools on your CV: Experience across a variety of specialist systems, giving you confidence and knowledge.

- Got exams?: Tell us and we’ll work around them

- Real career opportunities: potential to transition into a full-time role in Commercial Management, Estimating or Rollout when you graduate.

Is this you?

- Studying construction management or a related course at a Sydney uni or TAFE

- You could also have trades experience under your belt and interested in off the tools opportunities
- In 2nd year now, or in 2nd year in 2027 if you're in a 4-year course
- The right to work in Australia (without restrictions)

- Keen on making a long-term career in the construction industry, safety-minded, and happy to ask questions

- Able to get to Berkshire Park office and our sites (own drivers licence and reliable car)
