INTEC Energy Solutions is expanding its electrical construction capability to support renewable energy and electrical infrastructure projects across Australia.

We are now seeking an experienced Construction Manager - Electrical to lead construction delivery at our project in Queensland. Reporting to the Operations Manager - Electrical, you will oversee a combination of self-perform works and specialist subcontractors, ensuring protected, efficient and commercially successful delivery.

This is an opportunity to take a leading role in developing our electrical construction capability, strengthening delivery systems and building a high-performing team as the division grows.

Key responsibilities

- Lead construction delivery: Plan and coordinate electrical construction activities, resources, work fronts and sequencing to achieve project milestones.

- Manage teams and contractors: Lead supervisors, foremen and site personnel while overseeing subcontractor performance, productivity and compliance.

- Drive safety and quality: Ensure electrical works meet project specifications, quality requirements, relevant standards and site safety expectations.

- Coordinate project interfaces: Work closely with engineering, procurement, civil, solar PV, BESS and commissioning teams to resolve issues and support successful handover.

- Build construction capability: Develop practical delivery systems, improve construction performance and mentor personnel as our internal electrical division grows.

You are an experienced electrical construction leader with a practical,



solutions-focused approach and the ability to drive performance across site teams and contractors.

You Will Bring

- Extensive industry experience: 10-15+ years in electrical construction, including senior supervisory or construction management roles.

- Relevant project experience: A background in electrical infrastructure, ideally HV, substations, transmission, distribution or renewable energy.

- Strong delivery capability: Proven experience managing construction programmes, resources, productivity and multiple contractors.

- Safety and quality focus: A sound understanding of electrical safety, construction quality assurance and compliance requirements.

- Leadership and communication: The ability to build relationships, solve problems and develop high-performing teams, supported by relevant qualifications or equivalent experience, a current White Card and driver's licence.

Experience across utility-scale solar PV, battery energy storage systems (BESS), HV or substation construction will be highly regarded.
