Content Creator - Videography & Photography

We're looking for an experienced Content Creator to join Mode!

We're a boutique marketing agency based in Perth, working with a great mix of clients across different industries, and we're looking for a talented Content Creator to join our growing team.

We're after someone who has previously worked as a Content Creator in a marketing or creative agency and knows exactly what the role involves.

Someone who is confident behind the camera, has a great creative eye, knows their way around editing software and can take a content brief from concept through to final delivery.

From professional video and photography shoots to capturing authentic, engaging content on an iPhone, you'll be comfortable doing it all.

This is a dedicated content creation role. You won't be managing social media accounts, scheduling posts, writing captions or running marketing campaigns. Your focus will be on what you do best, creating great content!

What You'll Be Doing

You'll work alongside our marketing team to bring client content briefs to life.

Your role will include

- Planning and managing photo and video shoots, from pre-production through to post-production.

- Filming and photographing content for a diverse range of clients.

- Creating high quality short form videos including content for Reels, TikToks and paid advertising.

- Capturing and editing engaging iPhone content for social media.

- Editing professional video footage using Adobe Premiere Pro and other editing tools.

- Editing and retouching photography using Lightroom and Photoshop.

- Preparing & working from creative briefs and developing shoot plans and shot lists.





- Confidently directing clients and talent during shoots.

- Managing footage, project files and content deliverables.

- Working across multiple client projects while meeting deadlines.

- Bringing fresh creative ideas and keeping up with content and video trends.

What We're Looking For

We're specifically looking for someone who has hands on experience working as a Content Creator within a marketing role, digital or creative agency.

You'll need to have

- Previous experience in a dedicated Content Creator, Videographer or similar production role.

- Proven experience managing video and photography projects from start to finish.

- Strong technical skills operating professional cameras for both photos and videos (Canon preferred).

- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Lightroom and Photoshop.

- Experience using CapCut, VEED or similar editing platforms.

- Confidence capturing and editing high-quality content on an iPhone.

- A strong understanding of creating engaging short-form content for social media.

- A great eye for lighting, composition, framing and visual storytelling.

- Confidence attending and managing client shoots independently.

- The ability to work efficiently across different brands, briefs and deadlines.

- Hold a current,



valid driver’s licence and have access to a reliable vehicle to travel to client shoots and locations across Perth as required.

Just as importantly...

We're looking for someone who is creative, organised, reliable and takes initiative.

Someone who can walk into a shoot knowing what needs to be captured, confidently direct the content and come back with footage they know they can turn into something great.

You'll enjoy working with a team but won't need someone looking over your shoulder to get things done.

You'll take pride in your work, have outstanding attention to detail and genuinely enjoy the creative process.
