We are seeking an experienced Workday Specialist / Product Owner to join a large enterprise environment and play a key role in the ongoing optimisation and enhancement of our Workday platform. Working closely with business stakeholders, technology teams and vendors, you will be responsible for understanding business needs, translating requirements into practical solutions and driving the successful delivery of Workday-related initiatives. This role will suit someone who combines strong functional Workday knowledge with the ability to lead workshops, gather requirements and influence outcomes across a complex organisation.

Key responsibilities

- Partnering with stakeholders to understand business processes, challenges and opportunities for improvement within Workday
- Leading requirements gathering activities, workshops and discovery sessions
- Documenting business, functional and integration requirements
- Acting as the key liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams and external vendors
- Supporting the design, enhancement and optimisation of Workday functionality and integrations
- Managing priorities, backlogs and delivery outcomes in a Product Owner or Business Analyst capacity




- Ensuring solutions align with business objectives and enterprise standards
- Providing guidance and subject matter expertise on Workday capabilities and best practices

About you

- Proven experience working with Workday in a functional, product ownership, business analysis or systems specialist capacity
- Strong experience with Workday integrations and associated business processes
- Demonstrated ability to gather, analyse and document complex business requirements
- Experience facilitating workshops and engaging with a broad range of stakeholders
- Solid understanding of end-to-end business processes and system impacts
- Ability to translate business needs into practical technology solutions
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Experience working within large and complex organisational environments
