Newmont Tanami seeks a Backfill Engineer to support protected, timely underground mining through paste backfill design, planning and QA/QC oversight. You will collaborate with Technical Services, Geology and Operations to optimise backfill delivery and improve stope performance across the Tanami operation.
Based at Newmont’s Tanami site with FIFO 8 days on, 6 off, you'll develop safe backfill designs for paste and rockfill, model designs numerically, inspect paste infrastructure and mentor team
