About the role

You'll be joining our café team, helping deliver fresh, delicious food to locals and visitors exploring Cape Tribulation. Turtle Rock Café is located in the heart of the World Heritage-listed Daintree Rainforest, about two hours north of Cairns, and is part of the Ocean Safari family—a multi-award-winning, family-owned tourism business.

Key responsibilities

- Assisting with food preparation and daily kitchen operations
- Preparing and presenting café-style meals
- Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen
- Following food safety and hygiene procedures
- Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods
- Working together to deliver a great customer experience

About you

- Previous kitchen,



cooking or food preparation experience
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- The ability to work efficiently in a busy café environment
- Valuable communication and teamwork skills
- Availability for a minimum 6-month commitment
- Your own vehicle — essential due to our remote location
