We're looking for a friendly, efficient and hard working cook/chef who cares about quality and detail to join our expanding little cafe team.

We're open 7am-3pm everyday but operate on shifts approximately between 6.30am-3.30pm, 10am-2pm or 2pm-6pm most days, with flexibility around these hours if needed as we're owner operated and passionately hands on.

A successful applicant will at minimum have the following attributes:

- A drive to produce quality, attractive food and consistently maintain these standards
- Reliability and punctuality
- Curiosity and active participation in the ongoing development of the menu, specials and updated procedures
- Strong communication skills, both in service and in robust, constructive intra-team meetings
- Ability to manage stress during service and an ability to perform heavy multitasking
- Kitchen skills roughly equivalent to Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent apprenticeship leading to this skill-set. We're happy to provide any necessary training in our systems and salary is negotiable for a more competent candidate as we're increasingly using elevated culinary techniques and want to continue driving this
- Ability to maintain a respectful, equal and abuse-free workplace that is welcoming for all staff

Starting salary of $65,000 - $75,000 + Super, depending on the candidate's experience and aptitude.
