About Vuly Play
Vuly Play is a leading provider of premium outdoor play equipment, known for our innovative designs, exceptional quality, and commitment to safety. Our mission is to inspire active and healthy lifestyles by creating products that bring people together and ignite a sense of wonder and adventure.
As a rapidly growing company, we are continuously seeking talented people who share our passion for creativity, innovation and excellence.
Our Creative, Marketing and Product teams operate across Australia and Malaysia, supporting distribution and marketing activities throughout Australia, North America and Europe.
Vuly is also a highly multicultural company, with people from many different backgrounds, cultures and nationalities working together across the business. We value people who enjoy working in diverse teams, communicate openly and appreciate different perspectives and ways of thinking.
This role is fully in-person and requires onsite work at our Brisbane office. Remote work is not available for this position.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a Creative Project Coordinator to work closely with and report to the Creative Director, helping coordinate projects, communication and workflow across Vuly's Creative Department.
Our Creative Team works across graphic design, photography, video production, product launches, campaigns, social media, events, office interiors, branding and other creative projects. With team members working across both Australia and Malaysia, robust communication, organisation and follow-up are essential to keeping projects moving effectively.
This role is not about managing people or providing creative direction. Instead, the focus is on managing the flow around creative projects, helping make sure priorities are clear, communication reaches the right people, deadlines are followed up and projects continue moving forward.
You do not need to be a designer, producer or creative specialist. What matters more is that you are highly organised, proactive, comfortable communicating with different people and genuinely interested in how creative projects come together.
Having an understanding of, or interest in, areas such as graphic design, social media, branding, photography, video or other creative disciplines would be considered a strong advantage.
You will also be involved in projects from an early stage, helping understand briefs, requirements,
timelines and overall objectives. If you enjoy the creative side, there will also be opportunities to contribute to brainstorming, project discussions and the development of ideas.
The right person will enjoy bringing structure to a busy creative environment while still being comfortable with the flexibility and changing priorities that come with creative work.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Creative Director to coordinate projects, priorities and workflow across the Creative Department
- Follow up on tasks, deadlines, approvals, feedback and outstanding information
- Help maintain clear communication between graphic design, photography, video production and other teams across the business
- Coordinate projects between the Australian and Malaysian Creative Teams
- Help organise project briefs, requirements, references, feedback and next steps
- Make sure relevant people understand project priorities, responsibilities and deadlines
- Identify projects that are becoming delayed, unclear or blocked and help bring the right people together to move them forward
- Help translate discussions, ideas and feedback into clear actions and next steps
- Support photography and video production with scheduling, communication, logistics and general coordination where required
- Assist with product launches, campaigns, social media projects, events, office interior projects, brand initiatives and other creative projects
- Participate in project discussions and brainstorming sessions where relevant
- Help coordinate communication between Creative, Marketing, Digital, Product, R&D; and other departments
- Support the Creative Director with general organisation and follow-ups across multiple projects
- Help improve systems, communication and processes within the Creative Department
- Maintain visibility across active projects and help make sure important tasks do not get lost between teams
- Support the preparation and organisation of meetings,
creative reviews and project discussions when required
- Help keep creative projects moving while allowing designers, photographers, videographers and other specialists to focus more of their time on execution
What We Are Looking For

- Strong attention to detail and ability to keep track of project requirements and outstanding actions
- Proactive approach to identifying problems, delays or missing information before they become larger issues
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where priorities can change
- Ability to understand briefs, feedback and project requirements and communicate them clearly
- Collaborative mindset and a practical approach to solving problems
- Ability to remain calm, organised and constructive when working under pressure
