A fast scaling, founder led payments business is looking for a Portfolio Risk Manager to take ownership of risk across its customer payment plan book as it continues to grow across multiple international markets.

The business offers consumers a responsible, flexible way to pay, backed by strong investor support, an expanding merchant partner network and a lean team where your work is visible from day one.

The role

- Own risk monitoring and reporting across a multi market instalment portfolio
- Track plan completion, cancellation, arrears and deposit coverage trends
- Identify emerging risks and recommend changes to approval, limit and deposit settings
- Monitor merchant settlement exposure and partner risk
- Build and refine collections strategy to protect portfolio performance
- Support funding and treasury with portfolio risk reporting and covenant data
- Run cohort and vintage analysis to inform product and pricing decisions
- Partner with product, operations and leadership on growth versus risk trade offs

About you

- 3+ years in portfolio risk,



credit risk, collections or payments risk
- Background in BNPL, consumer lending, payments or fintech highly regarded
- Commercially minded, comfortable building risk frameworks from first principles
- Thrives in a fast paced, scale up workplace with high autonomy
