FEMALE Support Worker Wanted in West End

We are seeking an experienced and reliable support worker to provide dedicated care for a 59-year-old man living with a spinal cord injury. This is a fixed-term contract position from 19th October – 13th November, with strong potential to transition into an ongoing permanent role for the right candidate. Full training will be provided, beginning with a paid buddy/observation shift starting 1st October.

Key responsibilities

Provide personal care support including manual handling, hoisting, catheter management, and bed transfers.

Work scheduled shifts: Tuesdays & Thursdays 12:00pm – 6:00pm, Saturdays 12:00pm – 6:00pm and 6:00pm – 10:00pm

Full training will be provided.

Pay Rate:

Buddy shifts: $45.00
Weekdays: $ 55.00
Saturday: $ 63.00
Sunday: $ 76.00

About you

Good Spoken and written English

Demonstrated experience in manual handling, hoisting, catheter management, and bed transfers

A calm, respectful, and professional approach to personal care

Valid First Aid & CPR Certificate

Yellow Card or NDIS Worker Screening Check

National Police Check

Australian Business Number (ABN)

Skilled Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance

Valid Photo ID
