Business Development Manager (Childcare)

Allora College is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team! This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven business development professional to lead domestic student recruitment and build meaningful partnerships across the childcare education sector. The role offers genuine scope to shape marketing strategy, grow industry networks, and make a real impact on the future of the childcare workforce through Skills Assure funded training programs.

What you'll be doing?

- Driving student recruitment : Lead the recruitment of eligible domestic students into subsidised childcare qualifications, with a strong focus on channel marketing, business development, and client management.
- Shaping marketing strategy : Plan, implement, and evaluate marketing and student recruitment activities for childcare qualifications, helping grow the college's presence in the sector.
- Supporting stakeholders : Manage and respond to stakeholder inquiries, offering thoughtful solutions to market challenges as they arise.
- Representing the college : Promote the RTO at marketing seminars and events, building relationships with prospective students and industry partners along the way.
- Measuring impact : Evaluate and analyse marketing plans for return on investment, contributing valuable insight to the college's broader domestic marketing strategy.




- Improving processes : Help shape recent processes and procedures for marketing and student recruitment, while supporting quality management initiatives.
- Achieving shared goals : Work towards established KPIs, including student recruitment targets and the ongoing management of industry networks.

Who are they looking for?

- Recruitment and marketing experience : Demonstrated experience in domestic student recruitment and marketing, particularly within the vocational education sector and subsidised or funded training programs.
- Cultural awareness : An understanding of the nuances involved in communicating with stakeholders from different backgrounds and meeting diverse needs.
- Skills Assure knowledge : Proven knowledge and experience with Skills Assure funded programs, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills across negotiation, sales, marketing, presentation, client enquiry management, and dispute resolution.
- Self-motivation and organisation : A self-driven approach with strong organisational and time management skills to juggle competing priorities effectively.
- Industry connections : Existing relationships and networks within the childcare provider community are highly regarded, though not essential, for this role.
