Mary Immaculate, Quakers Hill is seeking passionate and skilled Primary K-6 Teacher to be part of our school community and enrich the lives of our students.

This position is a full-time temporary position for the 2027 school year.

Key Responsibilities

The Primary K-6 Teacher will fit the following criteria:

- Ability to design developmentally appropriate lessons that meet students’ physical, social and intellectual needs
- Robust understanding of curriculum content and learning sequences, including Religious Education
- Skilled in applying effective teaching strategies that make learning meaningful
- Ability to create safe, inclusive and engaging classroom environments
- Consistent and fair behaviour management practices
- Able to use assessment data to identify learning needs and improve student outcomes

Qualifications and Accreditations

To be successful in this highly rewarding role, you will demonstrate alignment to the core purpose and values of Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese along with:

- Compliance with NSW Child Protection Legislation - Working with Children Check clearance
- Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
- Statements of Service
- Tertiary Qualification (minimum 4-year degree, or 75% complete)
- Religious Education qualifications, or a willingness to obtain them in line with the Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead requirements
