About OZ Buckets

OZ Excavator Buckets is a well-established manufacturer of excavator attachments based in Oxley, Brisbane. We design and manufacture high-quality excavator buckets and attachments supplied across Australia.

We are seeking an experienced Boilermaker to join our fabrication team.

About the role

You will fabricate and weld excavator buckets and attachments from engineering drawings, working closely with our fabrication, surface finishing and paint teams to deliver a high-quality product.

Key responsibilities

- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Marking out, cutting and preparing steel components
- Fitting, tacking and assembling buckets and attachments
- MIG welding structural and wear components
- Grinding and finishing welds to quality standards
- Checking work against drawings and tolerances
- Moving steel and attachments using lifting aids and cranes
- Following workshop safety procedures and maintaining a clean work area





About you

- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
- Positive attention to detail and quality of finish
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transport to our Oxley workshop (public transport is limited)
- Highly regarded but not essential: Experience fabricating excavator buckets or heavy earthmoving attachments
- Highly regarded but not essential: Experience welding wear-resistant steels (e.g. Bisalloy/Hardox)
- Highly regarded but not essential: Overhead crane / dogging licence
