As a Field Service Coordinator / Technical Advisor, you will be the face of Liftek Australia in the field, combining your deep technical expertise with outstanding customer service. This is a dynamic, hands‑on role where you will provide specialized diagnostic support, oversee equipment maintenance, and serve as a trusted technical advisor to our clients and tech staff.

Key responsibilities

Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients and inhouse technicians, troubleshooting complex system issues and advising on optimal equipment operation

Perform routine maintenance, complex diagnostics, calibrations, overhauls, and emergency repairs on Telehandlers, Access Equipment, and forklifts

Build strong, trust‑based relationships with clients to help reduce downtime and ensure continuous operational efficiency

Accurately document service histories, complete job sheets via field service management apps, and adhere strictly to Australian Work Health and Safety (WHS) and QHSE policies

Provide technical briefings or operational training to client teams and junior technicians when required

About you





Experience in technical diagnoses or technical service role able to read and understand wiring and hydraulic schematics

Exceptional diagnostic capabilities with the ability to think on your feet in remote or fast‑paced field environments

Strong interpersonal communication skills, with a proven track record of managing client relationships and translating technical concepts into straightforward terms

Comfortable utilizing modern field service management tools, mobile reporting apps, and diagnostics software

Experience with forklifts and telehandlers preferred but not essential; experience in late model trucks or tractor equipment also valued
