Job Description

- Total Lock P/L ta: Wynns Locksmiths
- Assembling parts and sub-assemblies of locks
- Building of lock cylinders and padlocks
- Cutting keys
- Repairing faulty locks
- Installation of locks and door furniture
- Onsite re-keying, and general maintenance and repair of locks and other associated hardware
- Provide advice, estimate of costs and quotations for customer's requirements
- Dismantling locks, repairing and replacing defective parts, and reassembling articles using hand and power tolls and specially designed machines
- Installing security systems, changing locks, cutting keys and opening locks by manipulation
- A knowledge of the parts and materials commonly used by Wynns Locksmiths
- A customer-friendly approach
- Competence to use tools and machines needed to provide onsite locksmith services
- Knowledge of Safes and Electronic security installations would be an advantage
- Ability to work unsupervised

Qualification & experience

Locksmith qualification (AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training or AQF Certificate III (ASCO Locksmith) At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications

At least 1-year experience preferred
