About the role

As a Customer Service Officer, you’ll be the first point of contact for our customers. You’ll handle vehicle hire sales and make sure every rental runs smoothly, accurately and with great service. You’ll also support the branch with a range of administrative tasks.

What you’ll be doing

- Delivering excellent customer service in person, by phone and by email
- Selling vehicle hire bookings, Excess Cover and extras
- Achieving individual and branch sales KPIs
- Answering enquiries and preparing customer quotes
- Processing payments accurately and keeping clear records
- Managing vehicle pickups and returns, and following up on late returns




- Coordinating vehicle detailing with our back-of-house team
- Coordinating vehicle transfers between branches
- Opening and closing the branch
- Assisting with receiving current vehicles into the fleet
- Keeping the office clean, organised and presentable
- General administration and other tasks as needed

What we’re looking for

- Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude
- Confidence in sales, and motivation by targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Administration experience
- Good skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Solid time management and the ability to show initiative
- A flexible, adaptable approach, including availability for some out-of-hours work
