Data Analyst | Data Migration | Microsoft Fabric

Rate: $900-$975p/d

6-month contract supporting a major digital transformation program

Robust SQL, data migration, mapping and reconciliation experience required

Melbourne CBD hybrid role, 2-3 days per week onsite The opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to support a major data migration and transformation program within a large Victorian organisation.

You will work across business and technical teams, helping analyse source and target data, define transformation rules, identify data quality issues and validate migration outcomes.

Key responsibilities

Analyse source and target data structures

Develop source-to-target mappings

Profile and investigate data quality issues

Write SQL for analysis, validation and reconciliation

Support migration testing and cutover activities





Work with Data Engineers using Microsoft Fabric

Build Power BI reporting for migration and data quality

Maintain clear mapping, testing and issue documentation

What we're looking for

3-6+ years' experience in Data Analysis or Data Migration

Strong SQL skills

Proven data migration and reconciliation experience

Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse or SQL Server experience

Power BI experience

Strong stakeholder engagement skills

Microsoft Dynamics / Dynamics 365 experience advantageous
