- Solid hands-on AWS Data Engineering experience
- Advanced SQL skills
- Hands-on experience with Teradata and Siebel CRM datasets
- Strong Python & PySpark/Spark experience
- Experience with AWS Glue, S3, Redshift, Athena, EMR & dbt
- Experience with Airflow or similar workflow orchestration tools
- Telco industry experience is highly desirable
? Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain scalable batch and near real-time data pipelines on AWS
- Build and manage ETL/ELT workflows using AWS Glue, S3, Redshift, Athena, EMR and dbt
- Develop data ingestion pipelines from databases, APIs, files and event streams
- Implement data transformation, cleansing, enrichment and standardisation using SQL, Python and PySpark
- Build and maintain raw, cleansed and curated data layers
- Implement data quality checks, reconciliation, monitoring and alerting
- Collaborate with Data Analysts and Data Scientists to deliver analytics-ready datasets
- Support DataOps/DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing and release management
- Optimise data pipeline performance and workflow orchestration
- Support production deployments and operational activities
- Maintain technical documentation, data mappings, data flows, schedules and runbooks
