HR Delivery Driver

Ashbern Farms is seeking a reliable and organised HR Delivery Driver to join our team based in Beerwah on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.

This is a hands-on delivery role transporting fresh strawberries from our farm to customers across the Sunshine Coast. The successful applicant will assist with preparing orders, loading the truck, completing the delivery run and returning all required documentation and equipment records.

Based at 150 Burys Road, Beerwah QLD 4519

Early-morning starts

Approximately 40 hours per week

Work performed from Monday to Saturday

Additional or changed hours may be required depending on crop volumes and customer requirements

Pay rate of $35.40/ hour,

Key responsibilities

- Break down pallets of fruit and prepare orders for the delivery run
- Check carton quantities against delivery run sheets
- Prepare, stack and strap pallets safely
- Load and secure fruit in the delivery vehicle
- Deliver and unload trays of fruit at customer locations
- Communicate professionally with customers and farm staff
- Ensure delivery documentation is signed and returned to the Ashbern Farms office each day
- Accurately record CHEP pallets taken from and returned to the farm




- Complete required pre-start and vehicle safety checks
- Maintain the vehicle in a clean, safe and roadworthy condition
- Promptly report vehicle faults, delivery discrepancies and safety concerns

Essential requirements

Current Australian HR driver licence

Current legal right to work in Australia

Ability to travel reliably to the Beerwah workplace for early starts

Safe driving history and a strong commitment to road and workplace safety

Ability to perform the inherent requirements of the position, including loading and unloading trays, working on and around trucks, and repeated manual handling

Positive communication and customer-service skills

Strong attention to detail and the ability to complete delivery records accurately

Ability to work independently, follow delivery schedules and manage time effectively

Desirable attributes

Previous experience in an HR delivery, transport, logistics or similar role

Current forklift licence (Not essential)

Experience with food, fresh produce or supermarket deliveries.

Knowledge of load restraint and protected manual-handling practices

Mechanical aptitude and the ability to identify and report basic vehicle faults
