About the role

As part of our front office team you will be the first point of contact for our patients – Greeting patients, checking them in and offering our services while they await treatment, objection handling and avoidance of cancellations.

Patient management; greeting and welcoming patients, answering all phone enquiries, making & confirming appointments; checking, processing & managing customer accounts

Patient care from entry to the surgery, recall management

General administration including processing payments using EFTPOS & HICAPS

Maintain stock control when requested

Reporting as necessary on practice activities

As a dental assistant, preparing patients for dental procedures and assisting for all procedures.



Helping maintain a sterile environment using ADA guidelines for infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, preparing materials and cleaning dental surgery room. Taking OPGs/lat cephs and giving children toothbrushing instructions in our dedicated toothbrushing room.

Our team work incredibly hard so we are looking for a dental assistant who is a team player as well as someone who is proactive.

Skills and experience

- Experience in dental assisting is essential and experience with HICAPS terminals and appointment bookings will be highly regarded.
