Go West are seeking an experienced and motivated Depot Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day operations and performance of our Karratha depot. This is a key leadership role with genuine accountability for the successful operation of the depot. You will be responsible for ensuring services are delivered safely, reliably and efficiently, while managing your people, rostering, fleet availability, maintenance, compliance, client relationships and overall depot performance.

We are looking for someone who will take ownership, make decisions, solve problems and drive performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Take ownership of the day-to-day operations and performance of the Karratha depot.
- Lead and support Supervisors and operational teams.
- Manage rostering, workforce planning and resource allocation.
- Oversee fleet availability, maintenance and operational readiness.
- Ensure solid safety, compliance and fatigue management.
- Manage employee performance and workplace matters.
- Build strong client relationships and resolve operational issues.
- Monitor service, labour, fleet and financial performance.
- Manage disruptions, breakdowns and workforce shortages.
- Drive continuous improvement, efficiency and growth opportunities.

About You

We're looking for a hands-on operational leader who takes ownership,



makes decisions and is accountable for results. You will ideally have:

- Experience managing transport, logistics or similar operations.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Experience with rostering and workforce planning.
- Sound knowledge of safety, risk and compliance.
- Strong client and stakeholder management skills.
- Good commercial awareness and understanding of operational costs.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive, accountable and results-focused approach.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Current C-Class Driver's Licence (MR advantageous).
- Ability to meet applicable medical, site access and competency requirements.
- Experience in depot-based, regional or multi-service transport. operations highly regarded.
