As a Retail Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, managing staff, and ensuring excellent customer service. - Manage the day-to-day operation of the store, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, till and safe management
- Manage weekly stock ordering through suppliers, controlling inventory levels, stock rotation (FIFO) and wastage to franchise benchmarks
- Monitor and manage store financial performance, including daily reconciliation and banking, weekly sales reporting to the franchise owner, and control of food cost and labour cost against budget

Responsibilities

- Prepare weekly staff rosters against forecast sales, ensuring compliance with the applicable award, including pay rates, breaks and record-keeping
- Ensure full compliance with the Safety program and local council requirements, including temperature checks,



cleaning schedules and readiness for compliance evaluations and health inspections
- Maintain brand presentation standards and execute national promotional campaigns and limited-time offer changeovers on schedule
- Be responsible for weekly stocktake and inventory management, and weekly inventory and sales reporting to the HQ
- Drive store sales through upselling programs, catering orders and management of third-party delivery platforms
- Handle customer feedback, online reviews and complaints, and coordinate local marketing activity, including community and business catering accounts
- Ensure workplace health and safety obligations are met for staff and customers at all times

Qualifications & Experience

- Lead and manage a team of retail staff
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and meet targets
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
- Monitor inventory levels and order new stock as needed
- Train and supervise staff to maintain a high standard of performance
- A Certificate IV, Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business Management, Retail Management or a closely related field
