Position Summary :

The Install Plumber is responsible for the delivery of installation works across residential projects, ensuring jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards.

This role is performance-driven and requires the consistent execution of installation work to a high standard while maintaining productivity, protecting gross margin, and ensuring all works are completed, documented, invoiced, and compliant.

The Install Plumber is accountable for both the quality of workmanship and the commercial outcome of the job.

Key Requirements :

- Experience in residential installation works
- Robust understanding of plumbing systems, codes, and regulations
- Ability to work independently and manage job sites effectively
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience working within installation or construction environments preferred





Job Responsibility :

Carry out plumbing installations including but not limited to:

- Drainage systems (sewer & stormwater)
- Water systems
- Gas installations
- Fixture and appliance installations

Complete all works in accordance with:

- Relevant codes and standards (VBA)
- Manufacturer specifications

Deliver high-quality installation works within allocated timeframes

Ensure workmanship aligns with company quality standards

Job Execution & Productivity

Complete jobs within allocated timeframes

Manage time onsite efficiently

Identify and escalat variations or additional works immediately

Minimise delays and avoid unnecessary downtime

Ensure all required materials and tools are prepared prior to commencement

Maintain productivity while protecting profitability and labour efficiency

Quality Control

Deliver work to a consistent and high standard

Ensure installations are completed correctly the first time

Reduce defects, rework, and callbacks

Conduct final checks prior to job completion

Maintain attention to detail across all installation works

Compliance & Certification

Ensure all works comply with applicable plumbing regulations and standards

Upload documentation to support compliance certification,



including detailed photos and labels

Identify jobs requiring permits and notify dispatch/office

Ensure all compliance documentation is accurate and submitted correctly

Maintain full compliance with VBA and company requirements

Job Documentation

Record detailed and accurate job notes

Upload required photos before, during, and after works

Ensure all documentation reflects completed works accurately

Support invoicing requirements through accurate job completion records

Collect payments from clients onsite following job completion or as part of progress payment schedules

Customer Interaction

Communicate professionally with clients onsite

Explain scope of works where required

Manage expectations and system handovers where applicable

Seek customer feedback through online platforms including Google, Product Review, Facebook, Podium, and other approved review channels

Represent Neighbourhood Trades professionally at all times

Invoicing & Payment Support

Ensure all completed work is ready for invoicing

Provide accurate job details to support billing

Confirm job completion status with office/dispatch

Support accurate and timely payment collection processes

Team & Operational Alignment

Follow instructions from Dispatch and Management

Work collaboratively with apprentices and other technicians, including supporting apprentice training and development

Maintain communication regarding job progress and operational issues

Support overall operational efficiency and team culture
