Job Ad – Disability Support Workers (Nursing Students / Assistants in Nursing)

Seeking: Nursing students or Assistants in Nursing (AIN) to join our team as Disability Support Workers

Are you studying nursing or currently working as an Assistant in Nursing? Looking for flexible, rewarding shifts supporting people with disability in their homes and community?

We’re hiring motivated nursing students and Assistants in Nursing in the Fairfield area to work as Disability Support Workers.

What you’ll be doing

- Providing personal care, community access, and daily living support
- Assisting with medication prompts (as per care plans)
- Supporting clients with social outings, appointments, and community participation
- Working one-on-one with clients in their homes or in the community
- Following individual support plans and reporting observations

What we’re looking for
- Currently studying nursing or qualified/experienced as an Assistant in Nursing




- Passionate about supporting people with disability
- Reliable, compassionate, and qualified
- Available for flexible shifts (weekdays, weekends, mornings, evenings)
- Current First Aid & CPR certificate
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport preferred
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Police Check

Pay: $26.44 – $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 24.0 per week
