About the role

You'll provide person-centred support to people with disability and private clients at home, in the community and in home and living settings. That includes everyday support, community access, structured routines, and support that promotes independence, dignity and safety.

Key responsibilities

- Supporting daily routines and independent living skills
- Assisting with appointments, social activities and community participation
- Building respectful, consistent and trusting relationships
- Following support plans and using trauma-informed approaches
- Communicating clearly with participants, families and the team
- Keeping accurate progress notes and reporting concerns promptly

About you

- Explicit spoken English and strong listening skills
- Able to adapt your communication to each person
- Reliable, honest and committed to person-centred support
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Working With Children Check
- National Police Clearance
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Current driver's licence and a roadworthy car
- Valid Australian work rights
