You want to do meaningful clinical work, keep developing your skills and have a life outside work. You also want to know what you’ll earn, who will support you and whether your experience will be valued.

At Alliance Clinics, we’re happy to talk openly about all of it.

We’re looking for speech pathologists to join our multidisciplinary teams in Townsville and Mackay. Whether you’re approaching graduation or ready for a change, we’d love to hear what you’re looking for.

What’s on offer

$95,000–$125,000 plus superannuation , with CPD allowance and optional performance bonuses.

Four-day weeks or eight-day fortnights available , with the hours and arrangement discussed upfront.

Structured speech pathology supervision and protected clinical support , with opportunities to work through cases and strengthen your clinical reasoning.

Support matched to your career stage , including a gradual caseload build for clinicians starting out.

A multidisciplinary team to work alongside , including speech pathologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, dietitians and allied health assistants.

Modern clinical spaces and experienced administration support to help your working day run smoothly.

Experience grows. Respect starts on day one.

Your qualification, ideas and contribution matter from the beginning.

If you’re a new graduate, you’ll have structured supervision, regular mentoring and planned opportunities to ask questions.

We’ll support you to build confidence and clinical judgement as your caseload develops.

If you’re an experienced clinician, we value the expertise you bring. You’ll have room to apply your judgement, contribute your ideas and develop your interests, with colleagues available when you want another perspective.

At every stage, we want you to feel comfortable asking for help and confident that your voice will be heard.

The clinical work

This is primarily a therapy role, delivering evidence-based, person-centred care.

Our speech pathology service supports children and families, including a substantial NDIS caseload, alongside dysphagia and other services across the lifespan.

We’re a generalist service with opportunities to develop specialist interests. We’ll discuss the caseload available at your preferred location, your experience and the areas you’d like to develop, so you have a clear picture of the role before making a decision.

You’ll work with colleagues across disciplines, share ideas and contribute to care that considers the whole person.

Flexibility that supports life outside work

We offer optional four-day work weeks or eight-day fortnights,

a no-questions-asked personal leave policy and Wellness Days that let you use personal leave to recharge.

You’ll also find regular team socials, tuckshops and celebrations, plus discounts of 25–50% at selected Townsville venues.

We’re an NDIS registered provider with established quality systems, and a winner of Best Major Enterprise at the 140th Townsville Chamber of Commerce Business Awards.

Clear pay. Optional extras.

Our salary range is $90,000–$125,000 plus superannuation , with CPD allowance and performance bonuses additional to this.

Your offer will reflect your experience, capability and responsibilities. We’ll explain the offer and discuss your expectations openly.

If you’re interested in earning more, performance bonuses and overtime opportunities are available. Participation is entirely optional. Working your agreed hours and switching off at the end of the day is respected here.

Who we’re looking for

You care about your clients, enjoy working with others and are willing to keep learning. You bring curiosity, sound skilled values and an interest in helping people achieve outcomes that matter to them.

New graduates, soon-to-graduate students and experienced speech pathologists are welcome to get in touch.

You’ll need, or be able to obtain before starting:

- Speech Pathology Australia membership or eligibility.
- First Aid and CPR.
- Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- National Police Check.
- Eligibility for a Medicare Provider Number.
- Evidence of your right to work in Australia.
