Earlyhood Executive is excited to be recruiting an experienced and passionate Area Manager to oversee 5 Early Childhood Education Centres across the Bendigo region of Victoria.

This is a fantastic prospect for an established multi-site leader or an experienced Centre Director ready to take the next step in their career.

Our client is seeking a confident, hands-on leader who can inspire Centre Directors, drive operational performance and maintain exceptional standards of care and education across their services.

About the Role

As Area Manager, you will be responsible for the operational performance, leadership and ongoing development of five early learning services.

Key responsibilities include:

- Providing hands‑on leadership, coaching and mentoring to Centre Directors
- Driving occupancy,



financial performance and operational KPIs
- Ensuring compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
- Supporting centres through Assessment and Rating processes
- Building high‑performing teams and positive workplace cultures
- Monitoring budgets, staffing and overall centre performance
- Developing strong relationships with families, educators and local communities
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement across all five services

About You

We are looking for an enthusiastic and commercially minded leader who has:

- Previous experience as an Area Manager, Regional Manager or Multi‑Site Manager within Early Childhood Education
- Alternatively, extensive Centre Director experience with demonstrated operational success
- Strong knowledge of Victorian childcare regulations and compliance requirements
- Proven experience managing occupancy, budgets and centre performance
- Excellent communication, leadership and relationship‑building skills
- A genuine passion for supporting Centre Directors and delivering high‑quality early childhood education
