Bathurst Base Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department on a 12-week contract from 12 October 2026 to 3 January 2027. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a agile ED environment, taking on triage responsibilities and contributing to the department's in-charge operations. The role offers exposure to high-acuity care in a supportive clinical setting.

Preferred Requirements

- Current Registered Nurse qualification with AHPRA registration
- Demonstrated experience in emergency department nursing,



particularly triage assessment
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) Level 2 certification
- Proven ability to work effectively in an in-charge capacity within the ED
- Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration
- Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated competency in Emergency Nursing
- Additional certifications in trauma or emergency care (e.g. TNCC) are advantageous
