Territory Manager – Victoria & Tasmania | Medical Devices

About the role:

A full time, permanent, Melbourne-based role working from home and in the field across metropolitan Melbourne, regional Victoria and Tasmania. You will represent a specialist portfolio spanning interventional cardiology, vascular and interventional pulmonology, including products with limited direct alternatives, and will be working closely with the National Field Sales Manager and Managing Director in a family-oriented team where decisions are quick and your contributions are seen. You'll inherit an established territory, with existing accounts and installed equipment across major tertiary, paediatric and private hospitals, plus room to grow and new products to launch.

Key responsibilities:

- Grow existing accounts and win new business across cardiology, vascular and pulmonology
- Run the sales cycle: demonstration and evaluation, negotiation, and purchasing agreement
- Support capital opportunities and tenders with the Managing Director and National Field Sales Manager
- Provide cath-lab and theatre support during live procedures
- Commission capital equipment such as CO2 injectors
- Manage customer consignment stock
- Keep CRM, sales plans and reports current
- Travel regularly to Tasmania, plus conferences and workshops

About you:

- 2+ years' hospital medical-device sales or clinical-support experience, or a clinical background and the drive to move into a commercial role




- Confidence in the cath lab or operating theatre: sterile protocol, lead aprons, hospital staff training and support
- Full driver's licence, own car, and full Australian working rights
- Willingness to travel to Tasmania and regional Victoria
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Highly motivated, self-directed achiever who thrives with autonomy

Highly regarded

- Background in interventional cardiology, vascular/IR or interventional pulmonology
- A clinical qualification: cardiac scientist; cath-lab, hybrid-lab or bronchoscopy nurse; radiographer; biomedical engineer
- Victorian and Tasmanian hospital relationships and an understanding of medical-device purchasing cycles
- Technical aptitude for equipment
- Competitive base salary, commensurate with experience, plus superannuation
- Quarterly commission plan, with annual over-achievement payments above budget

- Product and manufacturer training, and time in the field with the National Field Sales Manager
- A home-based role with genuine autonomy and visibility
