About the role

We are looking for a disability support worker in or around Thomastown area with a positive attitude of service and compassion. The work will involve providing community access and personal care to the participant.

Please note: These shifts will be 4 hours from 09:30 am to 01:30 pm.

As a Carer, you will be committed to your duty of care toward the participants. We are happy to work with you to help you excel in the sector. Prior experience is an advantage but candidates with the right attitude will be considered.

Duties include:

· Assist client with transportation and community access

· Assisting client with Personal Care

· Following NDIS code of conduct

· Following shift plan and achieving goals with participants





· Maintain accurate reporting (timesheets, risk or incident reports, shift notes)

· Honest and transparent communication.

· Eye for detail concerning in-home and outdoor risks

· Consistent communication and exhibiting leadership

Support worker with positive communication skills, a commitment to service, and a great can-do attitude will be the fit for this role.

To be considered for this role you must have

· NDIS Screening Check

· Valid Covid-19 Vaccination certificate

· Valid Driver’s License & Own Car

· Working with Children Check

· Australian Police Check

· First Aid & CPR Certificate

· NDIS Orientation Module

· Infection Control / Safe Hand Hygeine Training

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $36.23 per hour
