Expeditions Early Learning Journey

Raceview

At Expeditions Early Learning Journey, we believe every child’s first life expedition should be filled with wonder, warmth and opportunities to grow.

Our approach is grounded in play-based learning, curiosity, empowerment and the understanding that every child’s journey is unique. We create environments where children feel safe, supported and confident to explore, discover and thrive.

We are a small, family-owned and operated early learning provider with services across Queensland, and we are excited to be opening our brand-new Raceview 2 service.

To help bring this new service to life, we are looking for a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to join our team.

Why Raceview 2?

There is something pretty special about joining a brand-new centre.

You will have the opportunity to be part of Raceview 2 from the beginning, helping establish its culture, learning environments and educational practices alongside a supportive leadership team.

We want to create a service where children and families feel genuinely connected, and where our Educators enjoy coming to work, feel valued for what they contribute and have opportunities to continue learning and growing.

As our ECT, you will play an important role in making that happen.

About the Role

As an Early Childhood Teacher at Expeditions Raceview 2, you will lead and contribute to high-quality early childhood education and care, creating meaningful learning experiences that reflect children's interests, strengths and individual journeys.

Your role will include

- Planning, implementing and evaluating an engaging, play-based educational program aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)

- Creating rich, stimulating and inclusive learning environments where children can explore, discover and develop

- Supporting children's holistic development, wellbeing and school readiness

- Building genuine and respectful relationships with children and families

- Working collaboratively with Educators, the Centre Director and Educational Leader

- Providing guidance, mentoring and educational support to fellow Educators

- Contributing to the development of a positive and collaborative culture within our new service

- Supporting continuous improvement and high-quality practices across the centre

- Maintaining high standards of documentation and reflective practice

- Ensuring practices are consistent with the National Quality Framework and relevant regulatory requirements

About You

We are looking for someone who genuinely loves early childhood education and wants to make a difference in the lives of children.

To be successful, you will have:

- A Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or other approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification, or be working towards an approved qualification

- Current or eligible teacher registration, where applicable

- Current Working with Children Check / Blue Card

- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications

- Current Child Protection training

- Strong knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality Framework
- The ability to develop and deliver meaningful, child-led learning experiences

- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A professional,

positive and collaborative approach
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing
- The ability to inspire and support other Educators

- Strong organisation and attention to detail

Most importantly, we are looking for someone who shares our values of fun, empathy, understanding, integrity and accountability.

What We Offer

We believe our Educators should feel just as supported as the children and families they care for.

When you join Expeditions, you will have access to:

- 90% off childcare fees

- Paid Birthday Leave each year

- Paid Professional Development

- Employee Assistance Program

- Supportive and approachable leadership

- Opportunities to learn, develop and grow within our organisation
- The opportunity to help shape the culture and educational environment of a brand-new centre
- A family-owned organisation where relationships, people and culture genuinely matter

Our Mission

Every day, we strive to ensure that children in our care feel safe, happy, secure, supported and valued, while providing a vibrant environment that encourages enquiry, discovery, imaginative play and meaningful social interactions.

We want Raceview 2 to be a place where children love coming through the doors, families feel confident that their children are in safe and caring hands, and our Educators genuinely enjoy being part of the journey.

Ready for your next expedition?

If you are an Early Childhood Teacher looking for an opportunity to bring your ideas, experience and passion into a brand-recent service, we would love to hear from you.

Apply today with your resume and cover letter and come help us create something special at Expeditions Early Learning Journey Raceview 2.
