Earthmoving Plant Operator

- Operates machinery, including loaders, excavators, graders, rollers, skid steers, and dozers, to prepare road bases and work areas.
- Cuts, levels, trims, and compacts surfaces to required tolerances before bitumen application.
- Removes existing pavement, soil, and debris to prepare sub‑grade and base layers.
- Loads and unloads aggregate, gravel, and road‑base materials for asphalt production and site works.
- Shapes shoulders, drains, verges, and embankments to engineering specifications.
- Works closely with spray‑seal and asphalt crews to ensure surfaces are ready for primer, tack coat, and bitumen application.
- Maintains proper moisture levels and compaction to support bitumen adhesion.
- Helps position trucks, sprayers, and pavers for an efficient workflow.
- Clears loose material, trims edges, and ensures a clean, stable surface for sealing.

Full time/Permanent Position With at least 2 years of experience

Pay: $79,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
