Position Overview Our client is seeking a driven, high-energy Asset & Equipment Finance Specialist to lead and grow their asset lending division. This role is built for an ambitious "hunter" who knows asset finance, thrives on business development, and wants to break into the residential broking space.



You will own the asset transaction lifecycle while receiving hands-on mentorship from the business owners to master residential lending scenarios, positioning you as a complete, multi-faceted finance professional.

Key Responsibilities

Drive new business acquisition and maintain a strong monthly pipeline of 10-15 asset finance transactions (vehicles, yellow goods, business equipment, and specialised assets)

Consult with business owners, clients, and commercial partners to structure competitive asset finance solutions

Manage transactions efficiently from initial discovery and lender scenario analysis through to approval and settlement

Leverage social media, networking, and referral channels to build a vibrant personal brand and client network

Partner with internal residential and commercial leads to convert cross-referral opportunities

Actively engage in an internal training program to learn residential credit policy, serviceability, and deal structuring

Skills & Experience

Proven experience in Asset & Equipment Finance broking or commercial asset lending

Demonstrated "hunter" mindset with a strong drive for business development and outbound client acquisition

High energy, proactive work ethic, and excellent personal presentation

Willingness and passion to learn Residential Lending under direct mentorship

Strong value alignment-ethical, client-focused, collaborative, and accountable

Certificate IV or Diploma in Finance & Mortgage Broking (or willingness to complete)
