These are local positions working across the Townsville and Charters Towers regions. You will be responsible for safely operating heavy vehicles, completing daily pre-starts and vehicle checks, and carrying out all construction site work in a safe and professional manner.
Key responsibilities
Safely operate heavy vehicles (tip trucks, water trucks, water truck & dog trailer)
Complete daily pre-starts and vehicle checks/maintenance.
Carry out all construction site work in a safe and professional manner
About you
Current HR/HC Australian Driver Licence
Previous experience operating tip trucks and/or water trucks
Experience with water truck and dog trailers highly regarded
Experience operating a Road Ranger gearbox is desirable
Applicants must be able to meet WPHS drug and alcohol testing requirements as a condition of employment,
in accordance with relevant workplace policies and procedures
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
Successful applicants will be required to wear high-visibility (hi-vis) clothing, long pants and appropriate safety boots in accordance with WPHS policies and procedures
Reliable and punctual work ethic
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Construction, civil, mining or similar industry experience is advantageous
Local work in Townsville, Charters Towers & surrounding areas
