Client Service Officer - Newcastle

$40.80/hr + Super

Full time | 35 Hours per Week

A NSW Government agency is seeking experienced Client Service Officers to join its Estate Management division. In this role, you will support privately appointed Financial Managers, review annual financial accounts, manage customer enquiries, and help ensure compliance with financial management requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Review annual financial accounts and prepare reports.
- Provide guidance and support to Financial Managers.
- Maintain accurate records and customer information.
- Resolve customer and stakeholder enquiries.
- Follow up overdue accounts and elevate complex matters when required.
- Deliver high-quality, customer-focused outcomes.

About You

- Strong customer service and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience in finance, administration, community services, social welfare, disability, aged care, or a similar field.




- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work with sensitive information.
- Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience highly regarded.

Requirements

- Participate in a shared rotating phone roster between 9:00am and 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
- Participate in quality assurance and training activities, including monitored calls/emails and coaching sessions.
- Experience supporting vulnerable people, older persons, or people with disability is highly regarded.

Working Arrangements

- Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm.
- 35 hours per week.
- Fully office-based role (5 days per week).
