Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Electrician role based on the Gold Coast, QLD. The Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential and commercial properties, ensuring all work complies with relevant codes and safety standards. Day-to-day tasks include performing wiring and fixture installations, diagnosing and troubleshooting faults, conducting routine inspections, and completing necessary documentation. The role also involves collaborating with team members, communicating clearly with clients, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment. The Electrician is expected to follow all safety procedures, use appropriate tools and PPE,



and support high-quality service delivery on each project.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of electricity and safe electrical practices, with the ability to work confidently on live and de-energized systems.
- Demonstrated experience in electrical work, including installation of wiring, switchboards, lighting, and power outlets to industry standards.
- Skills in maintenance & repair for residential and commercial electrical systems, including routine servicing and corrective work.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical faults, identifying root causes, and implementing effective, compliant solutions.
- Understanding of electrical engineering principles relevant to practical field work and system performance.
- Valid electrician trade qualification and current electrical license appropriate for QLD.
- Strong awareness of Workplace Health and Safety requirements and commitment to safe work practices.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Good communication skills, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Current driver’s license; experience on the Gold Coast or in similar environments is beneficial.
