Property Maintenance Handyman / Gardener

Full time | Private Acreage Property | Mount Nathan / Gold Coast

We are looking for a reliable, practical and hands-on Property Maintenance Handyman / Gardener to take full-time responsibility for maintaining and improving a private 12-acre acreage property.

This role is focused on keeping the property, gardens and outdoor areas maintained to a very high standard at all times.

The Role

- General gardening and grounds maintenance
- Lawn mowing, edging, fertilising and weed control
- Planting new gardens and improving existing areas
- Pruning, mulching and general plant care
- Maintaining garden presentation to a high standard
- Irrigation checks and minor repairs
- Pressure washing driveways, paths, decks and outdoor areas
- Cleaning and maintaining decks, pool surrounds and external areas
- General handyman work
- Basic building rectification and minor carpentry
- Repairing gates, fences, doors, fixtures and fittings
- Minor painting, patching and general maintenance
- Maintaining pumps, hoses, garden equipment and outdoor systems
- Identifying maintenance issues early and fixing them before they become larger problems
- Keeping outdoor work areas, sheds and maintenance equipment organised
- Suggesting and carrying out improvements to the property





What We Are Looking For

- Strong gardening and landscaping knowledge
- Good understanding of plants, lawns and general horticulture
- Experience maintaining larger residential or acreage properties
- Practical handyman skills
- Basic carpentry and building maintenance experience
- Confidence using garden machinery and hand tools
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision
- Good attention to detail
- Pride in presentation
- A proactive attitude — noticing what needs doing and getting it done
- Reliable transport and a current driver licence

The Right Person

This role would suit someone who enjoys taking ownership of a property and keeping it looking excellent every day.

We are looking for someone who does not need to be constantly given a list. You should be able to walk around the property, identify what needs attention, prioritise the work and keep improving the property over time.

The goal is simple: the gardens, lawns, pool area, decks and general property should always look maintained and cared for.

Position

- Full-time - ABN preferred; can be wages if required.
- Long-term role
- Based at a private acreage property in Mount Nathan
- Salary based on experience and capability
- Immediate start available
