As a Workshop Storeman / Assets Maintainer, you'll play a critical role in managing inbound goods, maintaining inventory, and overseeing the storage and maintenance of workshop assets. Your responsibilities will include the receipt of goods, managing asset registers, and ensuring equipment is properly tagged, tested, and maintained. You'll work autonomously and ensure all processes are followed accurately and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

Receipt all inbound goods and process them into our systems using SimPRO.

Maintain and update asset registers, logs, and inventory systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Conduct or coordinate Test and Tag procedures for equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards.

Confirm that tools are Fit for Purpose before they are sent out to site by testing tools & equipment, diagnosing and conducting minor repairs.

Collaborate with team members to improve asset management and inventory practices.

Ensure all processes and tasks adhere to industry standards and safety protocols.

Manage time effectively, working to agreed timetables and managing multiple priorities.

Identify opportunities for system or process improvements and make recommendations to enhance efficiency.

About you

Proven experience as a Storeman, Inventory Manager, or similar role, with a focus on asset management and logistics.

Experience with inventory systems such as SimPRO (or similar) is desirable, though not essential.





A mechanically minded individual, with basic tool diagnosis and repair skills.

A proactive approach to safety and the ability to work in a safe, efficient, and compliant manner.

Capable of working independently and self-managing workloads to meet deadlines and targets.

Experience working in systems processes and making recommendations for continuous improvement.

Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various teams.
