Down Town Nambour is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our dining operations and deliver exceptional hospitality experiences. This is a full-time position based in Nambour QLD 4560, offering the prospect to drive restaurant excellence and create memorable experiences for our guests. As Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, from staff management and customer service to financial performance and quality standards. This role is pivotal to our success and offers the chance to make a real impact on our business growth and reputation within the local community.

Key responsibilities

Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service delivery and adherence to quality and safety standards

Manage and mentor restaurant staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling and performance management

Monitor financial performance, including revenue targets, costs and profitability, whilst implementing cost control measures

Maintain high standards of customer service, handling guest inquiries and resolving complaints professionally and promptly

Ensure compliance with health, safety and food hygiene regulations

Manage inventory, ordering and supplier relationships to optimise stock levels and costs

Implement and maintain restaurant policies and procedures

Liaise with the kitchen team to ensure consistent food quality and timely service

Analyse sales data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and growth

Represent the restaurant at local events and community activities to build brand awareness

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar senior hospitality management role, ideally within a busy environment





Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team

Excellent customer service orientation with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences

Sound financial acumen and experience with P&L; management, budgeting and cost control

Knowledge of food safety, health and hygiene regulations and best practice standards

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, suppliers and customers

Proficiency in restaurant management systems and point-of-sale technology

Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to operational challenges

Flexibility with working hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the business
