Job Description

The role of Casual Educator Diploma is critical in delivering effective education and care services that foster positive learning outcomes. This position involves creating and implementing tailored educational programs while ensuring compliance with the National Quality Framework and our Council's policies.

You will play a key role in maintaining a safe, healthy, and supportive workplace for children, families, and staff. Your ability to communicate effectively and build relationships will be vital in promoting a collaborative atmosphere within the Centre.

This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.

We are seeking an adaptable and motivated individual who is passionate about early childhood education and care. The successful candidate will possess a combination of relevant qualifications and experience, along with strong interpersonal skills.

- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care.
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Previous experience in an Early Childhood Education and Care setting.
- Applicants will be required to provide evidence of Boostrix (Whooping Cough, Tetanus, Diptheria); MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) and Hepatitis A & B or the commencement of these vaccinations prior to commencement

Your ability to engage with children, parents, and staff while demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement will be essential in this role. Flexibility in working hours is also required to meet staffing ratios as needed.

The commencing salary for this position is $44.75 per hour (includes 25% casual loading) plus 12% superannuation
