GCM are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Store person to join our busy warehouse team. This hands‑on role is responsible for the accurate picking, packing, dispatching, and receiving of goods while maintaining a safe and organised warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch
- Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently
- Receive, check, and put away incoming stock
- Restocking shelves to ensure the store is well presented
- Maintain accurate inventory and stock records
- Coordinate freight bookings and dispatch documentation
- Conduct stock counts and assist with inventory control
- Ensure warehouse cleanliness and organisation
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures
- Complete delivery runs twice daily
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, or dispatch environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills and experience using inventory systems
- Forklift licence
- Car Licence
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
