We’re currently partnering with a vibrant regional health service in Victoria seeking a passionate Staff Specialist in Emergency Medicine to join their growing team.

The hospital plays a vital role in delivering high-quality care to a large catchment area across regional Victoria. The Emergency Department

The ED sees over 33,000 presentations annually and is open 24/7, providing care across all age groups. The unit is supported by a multidisciplinary team, including Emergency Physicians, highly trained nursing staff, and experienced support teams. The department is well-resourced, clinically progressive, and offers opportunities to influence the future direction of emergency care in the region.

About The Role

As a Staff Specialist in Emergency Medicine, you’ll play a central role in delivering high-level clinical care, mentoring junior staff,



and contributing to ongoing service improvement and safety initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver expert emergency care across a wide range of clinical presentations
- Lead and support junior doctors and nursing staff
- Foster collaborative relationships across departments for seamless patient care
- Engage in audits, education, and quality improvement activities
- Contribute to policy development and uphold clinical governance standards

Who We’re Looking For:

- FACEM or equivalent specialist registration with AHPRA
- Demonstrated experience in a comparable emergency setting
- Commitment to patient-centred care and continuous improvement
- Leadership capabilities in a multidisciplinary environment
- Strong interest in teaching and mentorship
