Kanda

Bundaberg Central

- Monthly RDOs giving you an extra 12 days of leave per year

- Hybrid flexibility with the option to work from home every Wednesday

- Long-term career growth, plus wellbeing perks and an employee rewards hub

Finance isn’t just about reporting what happened. It’s about helping the people who run the business make better calls on what happens next.

As a Finance Business Partner at Kanda, you’ll sit at the centre of how we measure, understand and improve performance. You’ll turn month-end numbers into insight, variances into explicit commentary, and complex funding and pricing requirements into work that’s accurate, compliant and on time. You’ll also lead a division of the Finance team, setting the standard for how it delivers.

It’s close enough to the numbers to know them inside out. Senior enough to shape what they mean for the business.

What you’ll be doing

- Delivering accurate, on-time month-end reporting, variance analysis and commentary, plus ad hoc analysis that supports decision making and continuous improvement

- Contributing to finance reports that track performance and KPIs, turning the numbers into insight for the business

- Overseeing debtors reporting and controlling customer invoicing in line with compliance requirements and internal deadlines

- Preparing pricing schedules and customer contract funding requests and submissions, on time and in line with government regulatory requirements

- Coordinating the financial inputs for government grant applications as required

- Supporting and managing a division of the Finance team

You’re the right person if...

- You hold a Bachelor of Commerce or Accounting (essential)

- You have experience in financial analysis and can turn data into practical insight for non-finance leaders

- You’re confident producing accurate month-end reporting and variance commentary to deadline

- You have experience managing or leading a team (finance experience in an NDIS organisation is a bonus)

- You understand the compliance and regulatory requirements around invoicing, pricing and funding submissions

- You’re a strong communicator who builds credibility with stakeholders at every level
